" Why Join a Club? "

This was sent to all GSD Regional clubs, by Lew Bunch, to post on websites, info for our newsletters, etc...
It was beautifully written by Beth Allen of Georgia.

Why Join a Club?

*a club is a uniting force for people with a common passion

*a club empowers people to do more together than they could on their
own--there is strength in numbers

*allows people to use their individual gifts together with others who
may have strengths in different areas to further their ambitions

*gives recognition to people for their contributions and
accomplishments

*provides camaraderie for people who have similar interests

*gives you a voice in its governance

*provides a venue for education--ours and the public's-- we learn
from each other

*promotes a feeling of accomplishment--not one of us is as smart as
all of us

*If no one joined, there would be no shows, no fresh ideas

*everyone is a necessary part--without all of its parts there is a hole
in the whole

*allows strong and fast friendships to flourish--respect is necessary
